For 2012, the Meta's upgrades are many. Waistbelt can now be removed for lighter weight and less bulk. Reverse zipper coils for added protection against abrasion. Beefier shoulder straps. Genuine Cordura® nylon fabric with diamond ripstop accents. And new mini sunglass/phone pocket!

Main compartment opens like a clamshell for easy packing/unpacking. Internal, removable frame sports twin T6061 aluminum stays in an ergonomic V shape that curves naturally against your back. Hide the shoulder straps and waistbelt in a zip-around flap that tucks neatly into a pocket in the bottom of the pack. Clip on the removable carrying strap, and in 10 seconds you've got a shoulder bag suitable for the office.

Oh, and did we mention it's TSA checkpoint-friendly? The padded Boot sleeve can swing out and lay on the belt, so you don't even have to remove your laptop. Sweet!
