"Bags have both arrived. They're great - you guys remind me less of bag
manufacturers and more of artisans!!
The Fuse has got me around Indonesia
and Hanoi. Lord knows how it manages to fit in everything it has,
without complaint. Every time I think I can't fit any more in, it
somehow manages to take it."

"I just wanted to write to express how fantastic of a company you have.
I have had a Fuse now for at least two years. I have used it on a daily basis, and it is still in
the same condition as the day I got it. That honestly is truly
impressive. Yours is the first backpack I have ever been happy enough
with to use for years (and would even last that long to begin with). People still say it's really nice and ask where I got it. I happily
let them know it's the only place I would consider buying a laptop bag
or backpack."

"I was surprised at the quality and construction of the Spire Fuse backpack. It is great for those who like to carry multiple sized accessories along with their laptop. Based on our testing, this product is also good for those who can sometimes be a little rough with their backpack. With a retail price of $140, this product is a bit more expensive than your typical laptop bag. Considering that you will be carrying a laptop that is easily in excess of thousands, this is a small investment. This product is for those with a sense of style while maintaining the ruggedness of travel."

"The Fuse is an excellent bag -- well-balanced, extremely comfortable, and functional. It’s perfect for everyday use, thanks to its lightweight design. It can also function as a commuter bag because you would never suspect it is a computer backpack, giving you an inconspicuous way to tote around your precious notebook. Spire’s attention to detail and clever design is impressive. The hidden MP3 player pocket with the headphone pass-through and the well-padded Boot Sleeve case make this bag incredibly feature filled. For a hefty $140 you are paying for an ergonomic, well-designed, and functional laptop backpack -- and you are certainly getting your money’s worth."

If you have a question that isn't listed here, please e-mail us!
Q. Will my laptop fit in the Fuse?
A. To answer this question, you need to know the correct Boot size for your laptop (see below).
Q. What is a Boot and why do I need it?
A. The Boot is a padded, removable sleeve that secures your laptop inside the pack. It is essential for full laptop protection and is available in 9 different sizes.
Q. How do I know which Boot size will fit my laptop?
A. Check the specs on the Boot page or (even better) use our awesome bag finder.
Q. I already have a Boot, or don't need one. Can I purchase the Fuse without it?
A. Yes, after you click the 'Buy' button, skip the step where it asks for the Boot size. The price of the pack without the Boot is $110.00.
Q. I clicked on the 'Buy' button but nothing happened. What's up?
A. You must select a color first.
Q. Do you have any other colors?
A. No, but we'll be happy to hear about any color suggestions you have!
Q. What is the difference between the Fuse and the Volt XL?
A. The Volt XL is slightly taller, which makes it more appropriate for widescreen laptops. In addition, the Volt XL has a "hideaway harness", which means the backpack straps can be detached at the bottom and tucked away in the pack. For a detailed comparison, go to our Compare Packs page.
Q. What makes the Fuse worth $140.00? I've seen packs for less.
A. Bottom line: ours are better. More comfortable, better designed, and longer lasting. Also, the price includes the padded Boot sleeve, which retails for $30.00 by itself. Read more about what makes Spire products special.
